14: Dig your well before you're thirsty

You should prepare in advance whatever tools, skills or resources you will need later in life. Later could be tomorrow or years from now, but you'll be better adapted to capitalise on opportunities!

I’ve borrowed the title of this week’s issue from a book of the same name, which is primarily about networking. However, I think the core analogy can extend to anything you’re applying yourself to, so I’ll attempt to parse the core principles from the book as they relate to everyday life.
